| Professor Jibamitra Ganguly is an internationally leading scientist in the fields of mineralogy and petrology. He has specialized in investigating the thermodynamics and reaction kinetics of mineral systems with the aim to understand the evolution of the Earth and planetary bodies. He is a world leader in developing thermodynamic and kinetic principles and applying them to the complex, multi-componential solid solutions that are typically encountered in geological problems. |
